1. General information about Mepoly . nasal drops

Dosage form: Solution for eye, nose, ear drops
Packing: Box of 1 vial of 10 ml
Ingredients of each 10ml vial include:
Neomycin 35mg: in the form of Neomycin sulfate, this substance has anti-inflammatory and anti-infective effects bacteria in the eye; Polymycin B sulfate 100,000IU: this is the active ingredient that helps antibacterial. Dexamethasone 10mg: in the form of Dexamethasone sodium phosphate, belonging to the group of corticosteroids, this substance has the effect of treating allergies and anti-inflammatory.

2. Uses of Mepoly . nasal drops

Mepoly nose drops not only work in the nose, but also for the eyes and ears, with specific uses as follows:
Eyes: Conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis or eyelid inflammation, prevention infections before and after eye surgery, or traumatic eye infections. Nose: allergic rhinitis, especially the cases that respond only to corticosteroids, sinusitis, rhinitis and superinfected nasal polyps. Ear: Acute otitis media with incision of the tympanic membrane, infection of the ear canal, eczema, otitis externa (without perforation of the eardrum).

3. Dosage of Mepoly . Nasal Drops

Nose and eyes: If it is maintenance treatment, use 1-2 drops/time, about 4-6 times/day (time of each instillation is at least 1 hour apart). If it is an attack treatment, use 1-2 drops / time / hour. Ear: For adults, the dose is 1 - 5 drops / time, 2 times / day, used for about 6 - 10 days. For children, the dose is 1-2 drops / time, 2 times / day depending on the age of the child. Leave the solution in contact with the ear for a few minutes, rinsing twice a day. Do not use pressure to inject medication into the ear. If the drug is used for more than 10 days, the doctor should be re-examined.

4. Side effects of Mepoly . nasal drops

Mepoly nasal drops can cause allergic side effects if used for a long time or in overdose. In particular, pregnant or lactating women and children under 2 years old should not use the drug continuously for a long time.
