1. What are the effects of Deslora?

Deslora medicine is an antihistamine drug, which is made in the form of film-coated tablets, with the main ingredient including Desloratadine 5mg. Desloratadine is a metabolite of loratadine, which selectively antagonizes peripheral histamine H1 receptors. Thereby inhibiting the binding of histamine in the circulation to the receptor sites.
Deslora does not prevent the release of histamine. Desloratadine inhibits the smooth muscle contractions of the respiratory, digestive, and circulatory systems, and reduces the secretion of activated histamine from the lacrimal and salivary glands, thus having an anti-inflammatory effect.
Deslora drug also works to reduce capillary permeability, so it reduces itching and reduces inflammation caused by allergies. 2. Dosage and how to use Deslora

Since food does not affect the bioavailability of Deslora, you can take it at any time, regardless of the meal.
Dosage of Deslora drug should be according to the doctor's instructions, the reference dose is as follows:
Adults and children ≥ 12 years old: Use 1 tablet x 1 time / day. Patients with liver and kidney failure: The starting dose is 1 tablet/day, every other day. In the event of an overdose of Deslora, you need to immediately remove the unabsorbed drug from the body, then symptomatic and supportive treatment is needed. In a clinical trial, desloratadine 45 mg was administered multiple times, i.e. 9 times the usual dose, but no adverse effects were observed.
