Metravilon drug is indicated in the following cases:
Endocrine disorders: Primary and secondary adrenal insufficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia. Cases of rheumatic disorders: Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile chronic arthritis. Cases of collagen disease/arteritis: Systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic dermatomyositis (polymyositis), giant cell arteritis, rheumatic fever with severe heart inflammation, polymyalgia rheumatica. Case of dermatological diseases: Pemphigus vulgaris. Cases of allergic diseases: Seasonal and perennial severe allergic rhinitis, hypersensitivity reactions, serum sickness, allergic contact dermatitis, bronchial asthma. Do not use Metravilon in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient Methylprednisolone or any other excipients contained in the drug Metravilon. Patients with fungal or systemic infections. In patients receiving immunosuppressive corticosteroids, live or attenuated vaccines are contraindicated in these patients.
