Uses of Rolnadez

Rolnadez drug is made in the form of film-coated tablets with the main ingredient in each tablet is Tamoxifen citrate equivalent to Tamoxifen 20mg. So what is Rolnadez drug effective and how to use it?

1. Uses of Rolnadez

The main ingredient in Rolnadez is Tamoxifen, which is a non-steroidal anti-oestrogen. Tamoxifen acts primarily as an anti-oestrogen, inhibiting the effect of endogenous oestrogens, presumably by binding to the oestrogen-receptor.
However, clinical results show that Tamoxifen is effective even in tumors that are not related to the estrogen receptor, which suggests that there are some other mechanisms of action of the drug that are not known yet. Currently, scientists acknowledge that tamoxifen also has some estrogen-like effects on certain body parts such as the endometrium, bones and blood lipids.
Rolnadez is indicated in the following cases:
Treatment of breast cancer in oestrogen-dependent women that has metastasized. Adjuvant treatment of breast cancer in oestrogen-dependent women has been supplemented with chemotherapy in select cases. Adjuvant treatment for women at high risk of recurrence after primary breast cancer treatment. It is also used to stimulate ovulation in women with infertility due to anovulation. Rolnadez is contraindicated in the following cases:
