Coumarin and derivatives indandion: Long-term oral administration of Mexold 150 and in high doses slightly increases the anticoagulant effect of coumarin and indandion derivatives. Phenothiazines: Attention should be paid to the potential for serious hypothermia in patients receiving Mexold 150 concomitantly with phenothiazines or other antipyretic measures. Anticonvulsants (barbiturates, phenytoin, carbamazepine): induce liver microsomal enzymes that increase the metabolism of paracetamol into toxic substances for the liver. Isoniazid: combined with Mexold causes increased hepatotoxicity. Cholestyramine: reduces the rate of absorption of paracetamol.
