2.1. Dosage For adults

If the child weighs less than 59 kg:
Mild to moderate infection: The intravenous dose of 25-50mg/kg is calculated as ticarcillin every 6 hours. Severe infections: The intravenous dose of 50 mg/kg is calculated on ticarcillin every 4 hours, can be replaced by an intravenous dose of 50-75 mg/kg calculated as ticarcillin every 6 hours. If the child weighs more than 60kg:
Mild to moderate infection: The intravenous dose is 3.1g every 6 hours. Severe infection: The intravenous dose is 3.1g every 4 hours. Children with joint infections receive the usual dose. 2.2. 3.1. Contraindications Contraindicated to use Ticarlinat 1.6g in the following cases:
