MSc, MD Tran Van Quoc Thinh

Doctor Tran Van Quoc Thinh is an expert in the field of Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary Medicine and Endoscopy. He is the first Vietnamese doctor to graduate with a Master of Science degree, majoring in Gastroenterology at the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University, University of London, United Kingdom. He has nearly a decade of experience working in the field of treating gastrointestinal diseases, hepatobiliary diseases in adults.

Dr. Thinh is well-trained in Endoscopy at the Center for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, The Royal London Hospital, having performed hundreds of cases of intensive gastrointestinal endoscopy with acute intervention. Research during the time working at Da Nang hospital: Interventional endoscopic cutting and biopsy of gastrointestinal polyps, hemoclip hemostasis in severe gastrointestinal bleeding, endoscopic ligation and rupture of esophageal varices..

He also participates in specialized scientific research, specializing in Hepatology at the Blizzard Research Institute, Queen Mary University, University of London.

• 2021: "Study on the value of serum Cystatin C concentration in predicting hepatorenal syndrome in cirrhotic patients". Decision on recognition of topics No. 1321/QD-SYT and 6529/SYT-NVY.

• 2022: "Study on value of liver elasticity measured by Fibroscan technique combined with platelet count in predicting esophageal varices in patients with cirrhosis".
