Proper hygiene of the male genital area

Proper male genital hygiene and care will help reduce the risk of developing problems like skin irritation and some common infections.

The male reproductive system is a group of organs that make up the male reproductive and urinary systems. These organs perform the following jobs in your body:
They produce, maintain, and transport sperm (male reproductive cells) and semen (the protective fluid surrounding sperm). They release sperm into the female reproductive tract. They produce and secrete male sex hormones. The male reproductive system is made up of internal (inside the body) and extrinsic (outside of the body) parts. Together, these organs help you urinate (remove your body of liquid wastes), have sex, and make children.

Most of the male reproductive system is located outside of your abdominal cavity or pelvis. The external parts of the male reproductive system include the penis, scrotum, and testicles.
2.1 Penis The penis is the male sexual organ. It has three parts:
Root: This is the part of the penis that attaches to the wall of your abdomen. Body or shaft: Shaped like a tube or cylinder, the body of the penis is made up of three internal chambers. Inside these chambers is a special erectile tissue that, like a sponge, contains thousands of large spaces filled with blood during sexual stimulation. The penis becomes hard, erect when sexually stimulated. The skin of the penis is loose and elastic, allowing changes in penis size during an erection. 2.2 The glans This is the conical end of the penis. The glans, or head of the penis, is covered by a loose layer of skin called the foreskin.
The opening of the urethra: The tube that transports both semen and urine out of the body is located at the tip of the glans of the penis. The penis also contains many sensitive nerve endings. Semen, which contains sperm, is expelled (ejaculated) through the end of the penis when a man reaches sexual climax (orgasm). When the penis is erect, the flow of urine is blocked from the urethra, allowing only semen to be ejaculated during orgasm. 2.3 Scrotum This is a pouch of loose skin that hangs on the outside of the body, behind the penis. It holds the testicles in place.
2.4 Testicles The testicles are a pair of egg-shaped glands located in the scrotum, on the outside of the body. They produce sperm and testosterone, which is the male sex hormone.

Look for and feel for any unusual lumps or swelling during or after a warm bath or shower, at least once a month. If possible, stand in front of a mirror, checking for swelling in the skin around your testicles. Use your hands to testicles. Place the index and middle fingers under the testicles with the thumbs on top. Gently roll the testicle between your thumb and finger - you won't feel any pain doing this. Most men's testicles are about the same size, although a man's testicles are usually slightly larger than a man's testicles, or one testicle hangs lower than the other. Testicles should be smooth, with no lumps or bumps. You can feel a soft tube at the back of each testicle, called the epididymis.

Gently wash the penis, carefully pulling up and down cleaning underneath the foreskin, as well as the tip of your penis (glans) with water. Do not force and rub them. Gently pat to dry the tip of the penis, the area below the foreskin, and the rest of the penis. Make sure your underwear has been properly washed, rinsed, and dried completely before wearing. Make sure you wash your hands before urinating or touching the penis. This is especially important if you're exposed to anything that could irritate your penis, such as chemicals, chili peppers, or rubbing heat. Wash your penis with warm water and soap every day while you are in the shower. If you have a narrow foreskin, gently pull it back and rinse underneath. Who has ever been circumcised. After circumcision, proper hygiene is required to avoid infection and help the wound heal. Don't forget to clean the base of the penis, testicles, and the area between the base of the testicles and anus, where sweat and hair can combine to create a strong odor. You should avoid using scented soaps, gels, disinfectants, talcum powder, and deodorants as they can irritate the skin.

Proper male genital hygiene is a way to care and examine your genitals, help prevent disease and detect some diseases such as:
5.1 Tumors and swelling There are several causes of lumps and swellings. testicular swelling, including enlarged veins, fluid collection, chlamydia, or testicular cancer. Although there are only about 4 out of 100 masses, it's important to check yourself regularly because finding cancer early can make treatment more effective.
5.2 Testicular torsion Testicular torsion is a sudden painful swelling that occurs when the testicles become torsion – this is a medical emergency and requires surgery as soon as possible.
5.3 Balanitis If you don't wash underneath the foreskin properly, a cheesy-looking substance called smegma can start to build up.
Smegma is a natural lubricant that helps keep the penis moist. If smegma builds up in the foreskin, it can start to smell and cause bacterial overgrowth. This can cause redness and swelling of the tip of your penis, known as balanitis.
Balanitis can also be caused by a bacterial infection or irritation by soaps and gels. Most cases of balanitis are easily controlled with a combination of creams or ointments, good hygiene, and avoiding penile irritants.
The simplest measure for men to prevent male diseases is to properly clean the male genital area every day to help avoid the risk of infection, itchy fungus and maintain healthy reproductive health.
