Rezoclav 250mg/31.25mg has the main ingredients Amoxicillin 250mg (as Amoxicillin trihydrate) and Clavulanic Acid 31.25mg (as potassium clavulanate mixed with avicel in the ratio 1:1). Meanwhile, Rezoclav 500mg/62.5mg has the main ingredients Amoxicillin 500mg (as amoxicillin trihydrate) and Clavulanic Acid 62.5mg (as potassium clavulanate mixed with avicel in the ratio 1:1).
The drug is used in a short time to treat the following types of infections:
Upper respiratory tract infections such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media. Lower respiratory tract infections by strains of H.influenzae and Branhamella catarrbalis in acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia - bronchiolitis. Severe infections of the urinary tract - genitourinary caused by E. coli, Klebsiella and Enterobacter producing beta-lactamase in cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis. Skin and soft tissue infections: boils, abscesses, wound infections. Bone and joint infections: Osteomyelitis. Dental infection: Alveolar abscess.
