Diarrhea is a common digestive disorder that affects adults, children, and infants. Currently, there are many medications available to treat diarrhea, including Bioflora 200mg. So what is Bioflora 200mg? What are its uses, and how should it be used?

1. What is Bioflora 200?

Bioflora 200mg is a medication used to treat both acute and chronic diarrhea. It is suitable for both adults and children and is recommended for use in children aged 6 years and older. When treating diarrhea with Bioflora 200mg, it should be combined with oral rehydration therapy to prevent dehydration. Additionally, this medication helps prevent recurrent diarrhea.

The main ingredient in Bioflora 200mg is lyophilized Saccharomyces boulardii, a beneficial yeast for gut health. This yeast acts as a probiotic, balancing the gut microbiota and reducing diarrhea symptoms. Unlike other probiotics, S. boulardii is resistant to antibiotics, making Bioflora effective in preventing antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
