On the afternoon of August 18, Vinmec Central Park International General Hospital and Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital officially signed a professional support cooperation agreement, witnessed by a large number of staff and medical personnel from both units. This is an important step in improving healthcare quality in Gia Lai, while affirming Vinmec’s pioneering and leading role in transferring expertise and elevating healthcare services in Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thi – Standing Deputy General Director of Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital – shared that Hung Vuong Hospital has been in operation for 18 months and has earned the trust and confidence of local people as well as neighboring areas. He emphasized: “With this signing of professional support cooperation in the healthcare sector, we hope that Vinmec Central Park International General Hospital will provide support by transferring new knowledge and techniques, training human resources, and offering professional consultation on difficult cases… thereby contributing to meeting the increasing healthcare needs of the people in Gia Lai Province, while also helping to reduce the overload at higher-level hospitals.”
According to the agreement, Vinmec will provide support in technology transfer, professional consultation, workforce training, and directly participating in the treatment of complex cases. In return, Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital will cooperate with Vinmec to implement joint research projects, optimize treatment methods, and improve patient care quality. The cooperation activities also include telemedicine support, medical training and research, expanding the capacity to deliver specialized services, optimizing management, and enhancing patient experience.
