Vinmec Medical Genetics Division (Vinmec MGD) is one of the three functional units of the Vinmec High-Tech Center. Vinmec MGD applies and develops innovative products and services to support disease prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, screening, and treatment. We strive to revolutionize the way diseases are prevented, diagnosed, and monitored using world-leading technologies. Through research and adherence to international evaluation standards, our products strongly support clinical doctors, bring tangible benefits to patients, and lay a solid foundation for the era of precision medicine.

Vinmec Precision Medicine (Vinmec DTYH) focuses on upgrading core technology groups and providing services based on these technologies.
We are developing four key technology platforms, including Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Microarray
Molecular biotechnology, and cell-based technology.
We continuously expand into other emerging technologies to contribute to the excellent care value of the Vinmec Healthcare System
Meeting the needs for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment support in Vietnam and the region.
We provide solutions for cytogenetic and molecular genetic testing
We develop, implement, and integrate testing products in collaboration with many leading global technology companies to offer diagnostic services across multiple specialties.
We apply NGS technology in preimplantation genetic screening/diagnosis and reproductive support
We use NGS technology in non-invasive screening (prenatal, cancer, general health assessment)
We use NGS technology in the diagnosis of rare, complex, and mitochondrial diseases.
We improve the quality of genetic testing services using gold-standard molecular biology techniques such as PCR, real-time PCR, microarray, Sanger sequencing, and immunohistology in disease diagnosis and screening.
We develop Vinmec-branded testing methods to respond to emergency disease situations such as infectious diseases and community genetic screening.

Vinmec Precision Medicine (Vinmec YHHG) has established a world-class genetic testing laboratory system with internationally standardized infrastructure. The laboratory system is clean and pressure-regulated to ensure the quality of testing services. The Precision Medicine Division has been certified with ISO 15189:2012 by the Vietnam Accreditation Office for Standardization (BoA) to guarantee service quality and the accuracy of test results.
