The Orthopedic Trauma & Sports Medicine Center at Vinmec is a specialized facility focused on the diagnosis and treatment of injuries and disorders related to the musculoskeletal system and ligaments. Aging, trauma, poor posture, and high-impact sports can all lead to damage in these areas of the body.
The Center specializes in surgical and non-surgical treatments, including:
- Partial or total joint and bone replacements with artificial implants
- Hip, knee, and elbow replacement surgeries
- Reverse shoulder arthroplasty and small joint replacement in fingers – the first and only in Vietnam
- Arthroscopic surgeries to reconstruct and repair ligament and meniscus injuries
- Diagnosis and treatment of bone cancer, bone tumors, and soft tissue tumors of the musculoskeletal system

The center is applying advanced technologies in treatment, including 3D imaging and 3D printing of bones and artificial joints, personalized assistive devices created and printed in 3D, the development and application of artificial bones and joints using new materials, and precise robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
