Master, Doctor of Specialist Level II Bach Thi Ha Thu has many years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and prenatal care. Dr. Thu is responsible for managing high-risk pregnancies, particularly preventing miscarriage and preterm birth, and she performs 4D ultrasound to detect fetal anomalies.
She is adept at performing antenatal care, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections including complex cases or repeat surgeries. In addition, Dr. Thu conducts gynecologic surgeries such as myomectomy, breast tumor excision, Bartholin gland removal, and minimally invasive procedures including ovarian tumor resection and ectopic pregnancy surgery. She also provides fertility and reproductive health counseling and handles endocrine and menopausal issues in gynecology.
Dr. Thu earned her Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Hanoi Medical University and also received her Specialist Level II certification from the same institution. During her tenure at the National Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from 2010 to 2023, she accumulated extensive clinical experience in women’s health and conducted research projects such as “Outcomes of endometrial preparation for frozen embryo transfer using natural and artificial cycles” and “Management of primiparas aged ≥ 35 years at National Obstetrics Hospital.” Her paper “Pregnancy outcomes after endometrial preparation for frozen embryo transfer via natural vs artificial cycles” was published in the Journal of Medical Research, issue 9 in 2023. Dr. Thu is a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Society of Endocrinology, Reproduction, and Infertility. With her dedicated approach, solid professional skills, and many years of experience, she is highly regarded by colleagues and patients alike for her competence and thoroughness in reproductive health care.
