Master, Doctor Dinh Thi Hien Le has 30 years of experience in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

She is highly specialized in fetal medicine and was the first in Vietnam to perform fetoscopic laser coagulation of placental anastomoses in twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), with over 300 surgeries and hundreds of babies born after the procedures.

• She also achieved the world’s first successful uterine rupture preservation surgery in a 18-week pregnancy.
• Over 10,000 cesarean deliveries, including hundreds of complex cases such as placenta accreta, placenta previa, placental abruption, and preeclampsia.
• More than 500 uterine scar defect repair surgeries (post-cesarean section).
• Over 500 hysteroscopic procedures (polypectomy, septum resection, adhesion removal).
• More than 200 hysterectomies (both laparoscopic and open).
• Over 100 oncologic surgeries for ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, and endometrial cancer.
• More than 100 cervical cerclage procedures, including over 30 emergency cerclages for advanced cervical dilation (>2 cm with bulging membranes into the vagina).
• Over 300 amniocenteses.
• More than 300 amniotic fluid transfusion or drainage procedures in the treatment of oligohydramnios or polyhydramnios.

She previously served as Deputy Head of Department at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Head of the Obstetrics Department at Tam Anh General Hospital.

• She has undertaken advanced obstetrics training (residency) in the Republic of France and achieved notable research works, including:
• National-level research on fetal biophysical parameters via ultrasound, chaired by Prof. Phan Truong Duyet.
• Principal investigator of fetoscopic laser surgery for TTTS (city-level project).
• Fetoscopic surgery for acardiac twin in multiple pregnancies (Republic of France).
• Treatment of twin pregnancies with a coexisting molar pregnancy.
• Study on the correlation between placental thickness and fetal ultrasound parameters.

She is a member of the French Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the World Cancer Society, and currently serves as Deputy Director of the Women’s Health Center, in charge of Fetal Medicine at Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
