Dr. Do Phuong Anh, MD, PhD, is a cardiologist who completed advanced medical training at Hanoi Medical University, including the Medical Residency Program in Cardiology, Master's Degree in Cardiology, and Ph.D. in Cardiovascular Medicine.
Before joining Vinmec Ocean Park International General Hospital, Dr. Do served for more than 25 years as a Senior Cardiologist and Ph.D. specialist in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Vietnam National Heart Institute, Bach Mai Hospital.
Throughout her career, Dr. Do has pursued advanced professional training at leading cardiovascular centers in Vietnam and abroad. Her areas of expertise include:
- Cardiovascular critical care
- Preoperative and postoperative cardiac care
- Intraoperative and interventional echocardiography
- Medical management of complex cardiovascular diseases
- Community cardiovascular health management
- Cardiac rehabilitation
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Do is actively involved in medical education and postgraduate training. She has served as a lecturer and supervisor for postgraduate students at:

1998: Graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Hanoi Medical University
2003: Completed the Cardiology Residency Program at Hanoi Medical University, and was awarded a Master of Medical Science degree and a Level I Specialist Certificate in Cardiology
2015: Awarded a Ph.D. in Medicine by Hanoi Medical University & Completed advanced professional training in cardiovascular medicine at leading cardiac centers in Vietnam and abroad
1998 - February 2026: Served at the Vietnam National Heart Institute, Bach Mai Hospital, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases
