Dr. Doan Duc Dung, MD, PhD, has many years of experience in interventional cardiology. He received specialized training in cardiology, basic training in echocardiography and cardiac electrophysiology, and is proficient in emergency cardiac procedures, including electrical cardioversion, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacemaker placement.

With dedication to his profession, Dr. Dung has performed over 5,000 coronary interventions, more than 1,000 interventions for congenital heart diseases (such as atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, patent ductus arteriosus), over 500 peripheral vascular interventions (including carotid, subclavian, renal, and lower extremity arteries), more than 300 pacemaker implantations for arrhythmia management, and 20 aortic valve balloon dilations and transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVI).

Currently, Dr. Doan Duc Dung is the Director of the Cardiology Center at Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
