Overview

Dr. Dong Pham Cuong has nearly 30 years of experience in the field of Neurosurgery - Spine Surgery, particularly in performing surgeries for complex and challenging neurological conditions such as brainstem tumors, ventricular tumors, pineal gland tumors, skull base tumors, cerebellopontine angle tumors, vascular malformations of the brain, and cerebral aneurysms. He has successfully performed numerous surgeries on intramedullary and extramedullary spinal tumors, as well as spinal vascular conditions. Dr. Cuong is also experienced in robotic surgery for neurological disorders. He is a pioneer in the field of cement vertebroplasty, vertebral body replacement, and artificial disc replacement.

With over 20,000 surgeries performed, Dr. Cuong is one of the most experienced neurosurgeons in Vietnam today.

From December 2010 to November 2014, he served as the Head of the Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Trauma Department at Hanoi Post Hospital. From September 2019 to July 2025, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Neurosurgery Department at Bach Mai Hospital. Since August 2025, Dr. Cuong has been the Director of the Neurosurgery Center at Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
