Resident Doctor, Specialist Level II Lê Đình Hưng is an expert in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) with many years of experience, currently serving as Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Vinmec Smart City International Hospital. Throughout his career, he has directly performed thousands of surgeries ranging from routine to highly complex cases, with outstanding expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery, ear–mastoid surgery, and throat–laryngeal surgery. In particular, he has extensive experience in treating difficult conditions such as chronic sinusitis, chronic mastoiditis, sinonasal cancer, and sleep-related disorders such as snoring.
In terms of education, Dr. Lê Đình Hưng graduated as a General Practitioner from Hanoi Medical University in 2000, completed the Residency Program with a Master of Medicine in Otorhinolaryngology in 2004, and obtained the degree of Specialist Level II in Otorhinolaryngology in 2021, also at Hanoi Medical University. Beyond domestic training, he attended several advanced training programs at leading ENT centers worldwide, including Singapore (2005), the United States (2009), and France (2011), with a special focus on head and neck surgery and modern treatment techniques.
Regarding professional experience, Dr. Hưng dedicated more than a decade to E Hospital, where he served as an ENT physician (2006 – 2012), Deputy Head of the ENT Department (2013 – 2014), and later as Head of the ENT Department (2015 – present). Since 2023, he has also been a Member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi ENT Society and Northern Provinces, and serves as a visiting lecturer at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. At present, he is the Head of the ENT Department – Vinmec Smart City International Hospital, directly examining and treating patients with the principle of prioritizing both safety and effectiveness.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Lê Đình Hưng actively engages in scientific research with numerous studies published domestically and internationally, making significant contributions to the advancement of otorhinolaryngology in Vietnam. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi ENT Society and Northern Provinces, and a visiting lecturer at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, contributing to the training of future generations of physicians.
