Le Tan Dat, MD, PhD, is a highly experienced physician in the field of chemotherapy and molecular oncology. He earned his PhD from Tokushima University, Japan, in 2012. Throughout his career, Dr. Dat has participated in advanced training programs on cancer treatment in the United States and Japan, and has published numerous significant scientific papers on lung cancer, histopathology, diagnosis, and treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in national medical journals. He is also a member of the Vietnam Oncology Association.

Currently, Dr. Dat works at the Oncology Center – Vinmec Central Park International Hospital, where he serves as Head of the Medical Oncology Unit. He specializes in the internal medicine and chemotherapy treatment of various cancers, particularly hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and leukemia, as well as solid tumors including lung cancer, head and neck cancers (nasopharyngeal, laryngeal, hypopharyngeal), and gastrointestinal cancers (stomach, colorectal). In addition to active cancer treatment, Dr. Dat also provides consultation and palliative care to improve patients’ quality of life.

During his career, Dr. Dat has held several key positions at Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, including Deputy Head of the Molecular Biology Unit and Deputy Head of Internal Medicine Department 2. He also served as a resident doctor at the Department of Oncology, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City. His dedication to research and clinical excellence has earned him numerous recognitions and awards from medical institutions and professional organizations.
