Doctor of Specialist Level II Luong Van Den has many years of experience in diagnosing, consulting, and treating internal medicine, geriatric, and palliative care conditions. He obtained his Specialist Level II degree in Geriatrics from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City and worked at the University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City for nearly a decade. Throughout his career, Dr. Den has completed numerous advanced training programs in internal medicine emergency care, endocrinology, family medicine, multimodal pain management, hepatitis, intra-articular injection, musculoskeletal ultrasound, elastography, electroencephalography, and respiratory function testing.

Dr. Den provides family health screening and general medical services for foreign patients and manages various conditions such as peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux, fatty liver, osteoarthritis, gout, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, sleep apnea syndrome, diabetes mellitus, heart failure, and hypertension. He is also responsible for diagnosing and developing palliative care plans for patients with advanced-stage cancer, addressing symptoms such as pain, shortness of breath, nausea, delirium, insomnia, and malnutrition. He performs diagnostic and supportive procedures such as abdominal ultrasound, liver elastography, musculoskeletal ultrasound, joint injections, and pleural or peritoneal fluid aspiration.

He is the author or co-author of several scientific papers and institutional-level research projects on palliative care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation needs, and home parenteral nutrition for cancer patients. Dr. Den is a member of professional organizations including the Vietnam Geriatrics Society, Vietnam Internal Medicine Society, Ho Chi Minh City Medical Association, and other related medical associations. He has been recognized multiple times by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and medical institutions for his contributions to community health education and internal medicine services.
