Dr. Mai Kiều Anh, MSc, MD, brings many years of experience in the fields of critical care, emergency medicine, and pediatrics. She completed her general medicine training at Hanoi Medical University from 1994 to 2000. Over the years, Dr. Kiều Anh pursued advanced training in pediatric intensive care and cardiovascular critical care, undertaking specialized courses at Saint Jacques Hospital in Besançon, France, and at Samsung Medical Center, South Korea. She earned her Master’s degree in 2012 from Hanoi Medical University.
Throughout her career, Dr. Kiều Anh has held key clinical positions, including service in the Pediatric Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the National Children’s Hospital, before taking on her current role as Head of the Neonatology Department at Vinmec Times City International Hospital. Her practice covers a broad spectrum of neonatal and pediatric critical care, from managing life-threatening conditions in newborns to emergency interventions in children.
In parallel with her clinical work, Dr. Kiều Anh has contributed scholarly articles on topics such as post–cardiac surgery peritoneal dialysis, airway foreign body prevention in children, and advances in pediatric and neonatal resuscitation. She is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Vietnam Pediatric Association, the Vietnam Association of Pediatric Surgery, and the Vietnam Society of Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. She also serves as a certified PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) instructor.
