Master’s degree holder and Resident Physician Mai Xuan Dat carries many years of experience in the field of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine. He completed his medical studies at Hanoi Medical University from 2011 to 2017, then pursued a residency in Intensive Care – Emergency Medicine at Bach Mai Hospital under Hanoi Medical University in 2020. From 2017 to 2020, Dr. Dat served as a resident in the Intensive Care – Emergency Department of Bach Mai Hospital. Following that, he worked in the Emergency Department of Bach Mai Hospital, and in 2021 joined the Intensive Care Department of Hanoi Heart Hospital. Currently, he works in the Department of Intensive Care – Emergency Medicine at Vinmec International General Hospital Phu Quoc and holds the position of Head of the Intensive Care – Emergency Department there.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Dat handles critical patients through multisystem support, airway management, respiratory support, mechanical ventilation, and blood purification by hemoperfusion in septic shock cases. He is experienced in managing out-of-hospital cardiac arrest cases and applying advanced intensive care techniques.

On the academic front, Dr. Dat acted as a researcher for his residency thesis “Application of hemoperfusion using Resin membrane (HA330) in treating septic shock” at Bach Mai Hospital and is author of the article “Application of hemoperfusion using Resin membrane (HA330) in treating septic shock,” published in the Vietnam Journal of Medicine in 2019.
