Specialist Level II Doctor Nguyen Dinh Huong has extensive experience in neurosurgery and spinal surgery, having directly performed more than 10,000 successful operations. He is an expert in the treatment of brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular malformations, spinal cord tumors, and spinal diseases.
After graduating as a General Practitioner from the Vietnam Military Medical University, Dr. Nguyen Dinh Huong continued his advanced training at major medical institutions and universities in Vietnam, including Cho Ray Hospital, University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Nguyen University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and is currently a PhD candidate in Neurosurgery at Hanoi Medical University.
Before joining Vinmec, he had over 12 years of experience working at Thai Nguyen Central Hospital – a special-class hospital under the Ministry of Health – as a Neurosurgeon specializing in spinal surgery. He is now a Neurosurgeon at Vinmec Times City International Hospital, where he continues to advance his expertise and apply modern surgical techniques to deliver optimal outcomes for patients.
He is a member of the Vietnam Neurosurgical Society, the Vietnam Spine Society, and the Asian Young Neurosurgeons Society. For his professional contributions, Dr. Huong has been awarded Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Health and the Central Youth Union.
