Graduating from Hanoi Medical University in 2013, Dr. Tuyền pursued advanced training in emergency and critical care medicine and completed his Specialist Level I degree at the same university in 2020. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has continuously honed his expertise and clinical skills through specialized training courses in intensive care, hemodialysis, ECMO, and advanced critical care techniques.

Before joining the Vinmec Healthcare System, Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Tuyền spent over 11 years at Bai Chay Hospital, Quang Ninh Province, where he held the position of Deputy Head of the Intensive Care and Toxicology Department and was in charge of the Emergency Unit. During this time, he directly participated in the treatment and successful recovery of numerous severe and complex cases, including septic shock, multiple organ failure, coma, acute stroke, poisoning, and severe respiratory failure.

Dr. Tuyền possesses extensive experience in performing and mastering advanced intensive care techniques such as mechanical ventilation, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), plasma exchange, ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), and therapeutic hypothermia—modern technologies that have saved many critically ill patients.
