Resident Doctor Nguyen Quynh Giang currently works in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
With many years of experience in medical imaging, Dr. Giang has held key roles including serving as Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Vinmec Phu Quoc.
Over the course of her career, she received formal training: she graduated with a medical degree from Hanoi Medical University in 2012, followed by a radiology residency program at Bach Mai Hospital and in France from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, she underwent advanced training in PET/CT and PET/MRI in Zurich (Switzerland) and in nuclear medicine in Korea, as well as a six-month fellowship at the 108 Military Central Hospital.
Dr. Giang has participated in numerous continuing education and advanced imaging courses in specialties such as neurology, musculoskeletal, digestive, and genitourinary imaging at institutions including Bach Mai, Hanoi Medical University, and the K Hospital.
In her clinical practice, she offers services such as bone biopsy, lumbar spine decompression injection under imaging guidance, and other advanced imaging techniques. She has led or co-led research projects, including the residency thesis “CT-guided lumbar decompression injection” at Bach Mai Hospital.
She is also part of the multinational SAVANNAH study on small cell lung cancer at Vinmec. Dr. Giang was awarded the Bronze Medal at the 2006 International Biology Olympiad and received commendations for excellent professional performance at Vinmec Times City in 2017 and 2019.
