Specialist Level II Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung currently works in the Obstetrics Department at the Women’s Health Center of Vinmec Times City International Hospital and brings many years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She graduated with distinction from the residency program in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Hanoi Medical University and has now accumulated over 13 years of clinical practice. Prior to joining Vinmec, she served at institutions such as Bach Mai Hospital, Hospital E in Hanoi, the Central Maternity Hospital, and Quang Ninh Maternity–Pediatric Hospital, helping her deepen both theoretical and hands-on expertise.

In her clinical work, Dr. Dung offers a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic services including basic obstetric ultrasound and transabdominal/transvaginal scans, monitoring of normal and high-risk pregnancies such as gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, intrauterine growth restriction, management of pregnancy preservation, cervical cerclage, diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and reproductive tract infections. She performs both open and laparoscopic surgery for ectopic pregnancy, cysts, fibroids, handles abnormal pregnancies, conducts early gynecologic cancer screening, and provides counseling on family planning, infertility, and postpartum care. 

In research and academia, Dr. Dung has contributed to works such as “Evaluation of surgical treatment for ovarian endometriotic cysts at the Central Maternity Hospital (2015)” and “Clinical, paraclinical characteristics and obstetric outcomes in pregnant women with gestational diabetes at Vinmec International Hospital (2023).” Although she has not widely publicized major national awards, she actively participates in training courses and conferences to stay current in her field.
