Dr. Nguyen Van Tinh has many years of experience in cell research, focusing on the biological activity of proteins and peptides in cancer treatment applications, as well as the safety and applicability of biomaterials. He successfully defended his Ph.D. dissertation in Biomedical Science at Pukyong National University, South Korea, in 2017. Following that, he pursued postdoctoral research in cell studies, biomaterial development, and both in vitro and in vivo experimental applications.
Dr. Tinh joined Vinmec International General Hospital in December 2017, where he has been engaged in stem cell research and laboratory management at the Vinmec High-Tech Center. He is currently the Head of the Vinmec Umbilical Cord Blood Bank and Project Leader for AABB (American Association of Blood Banks) accreditation at the Vinmec High-Tech Center. In addition, Dr. Tinh actively participates in development projects at the Vinmec Tissue Bank.
