Prof. Dr. Pham Nhat An has many years of experience in the field of Pediatrics. In 2016, Dr. Nhat An was conferred the title of Professor of Medicine. He has participated in specialized pediatric courses both domestically and in Bulgaria; he has authored dozens of books and scientific research projects revolving around the topics of pediatric encephalitis and Hand-Foot-Mouth disease, among others.

Professor Nhat An has dedicated his entire career to the development of the Pediatric field in Vietnam's medicine. He was entrusted with many important positions, such as former Vice-Rector of Hanoi Medical University, Vice Director of the Center for Family Medicine, Head of the Department of Family Medicine, Head of the Postgraduate Training Office; former Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at the National Hospital of Pediatrics; former Deputy Director of the National Hospital of Pediatrics, Vice Director of the Research Institute for Child Health; and former Head of the Department of Pediatrics – Hanoi Medical University. He has also been an influential member of various organizations, including the Secretary-General of the Vietnam Pediatric Association, Standing Member of the Vietnam Association of Infectious Diseases, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Clinical HIV/AIDS Association, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Family Physicians, and a Member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) in the United States.

In recognition of his lifelong contributions, Professor Pham Nhat An is not only a venerated figure admired by the medical community but has also been honored by the State with numerous awards and certificates of merit, such as the Medal for the Cause of Education (2006), Medal for Public Health (2006), title of Outstanding Teacher (2006), Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister (2009), Labor Order, Third Class (2011), and the title of People's Teacher (2012).

Currently, Prof. Dr. Pham Nhat An holds the position of Chairman of the Pediatric Professional Council cum Head of the Pediatric Department at Vinmec Times City International General Hospital.
