MSc, MD Pham Quoc Thanh is a physician with many years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging and currently practices in the Imaging Department at Vinmec International General Hospital in Hai Phong. Before joining Vinmec, he served as a lecturer in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy, while also engaging in clinical work at provincial and central hospitals. Dr. Thanh completed numerous short- and long-term training programs domestically and participated in specialized courses offered by the Vietnam Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, the Vietnam Ultrasound Society, and the Interventional Radiology subdivision.
Clinically, Dr. Thanh provides diagnostic and interventional imaging services such as ultrasound, X-ray, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). His special skills include interventional treatments of liver tumors via embolization, uterine fibroid and endometriosis embolization, guided biopsy of tumors via imaging, diagnosis of internal organ trauma (such as liver rupture, spleen rupture, kidney rupture) and urgent interventions under digital subtraction angiography.
On the academic front, Dr. Thanh is author or coauthor of several specialty articles, including “Application of Transarterial Chemoembolization for Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma at Viet Tiep Hospital, Hai Phong” and “Study on Interventional Embolization Technique in HCC at Viet Tiep Hospital.” These were published in domestic medical journals and presented at scientific conferences, such as the Science & Technology Conference of Hai Phong University of Medicine.
Because of his clinical skills and research contributions, Dr. Thanh has earned high regard from colleagues and patients. He is a member of the Vietnam Ultrasound Society – Radiology & Nuclear Medicine subdivision, as well as the Vietnam Society of Interventional Radiology – Radiology & Nuclear Medicine subdivision. His working style emphasizes careful, accurate diagnosis, close coordination with clinical specialties, and always putting patient welfare at the center of treatment decisions.
