Master of Medicine, Dr. Tạ Quế Phương is currently working as a Gastroenterologist in the Department of Gastroenterology – Hepatobiliary at Vinmec Times City International Hospital. He has many years of experience in gastrointestinal endoscopy and the diagnosis and treatment of digestive system diseases. Dr. Phương’s educational journey began with a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine from Hanoi Medical University in 2014. Prior to that, he completed a certificate program in gastroscopy and colonoscopy at Bach Mai Hospital in 2013. From 2008 to 2015, he worked as a lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology at Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, where he was involved in clinical teaching and research in digestive medicine.

In his clinical work, Dr. Phương conducts examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions—from esophageal, gastric, and duodenal disorders to colorectal and anal diseases—along with liver, biliary, and pancreatic disorders. He also performs interventional endoscopic procedures such as biopsy, polypectomy, hemostatic injection, clip placement, and early diagnostic endoscopy for gastrointestinal cancers. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Phương actively participates in conferences, symposiums, and continuing medical education programs in gastroenterology and endoscopy.

He is a member of professional gastroenterology networks, collaborating with healthcare organizations to update new techniques and improve treatment processes.
