Doctor of Philosophy Tran Huu Dat has many years of experience in Rehabilitation Medicine, with specialization in cardiovascular, neurological, musculoskeletal, and spinal cord injury conditions. Dr. Dat completed his residency at Hanoi Medical University and later became a lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation there while also practicing clinically at the Rehabilitation Center of Bach Mai Hospital. He is currently working in the Rehabilitation Department at Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dat has managed many complex cases such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, stable coronary artery disease, postoperative vascular complications, stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord damage, multifocal neuropathy, spinal degeneration, disc herniation, ligament injuries, and postoperative musculoskeletal rehabilitation. He has led movement-rehabilitation programs and employed advanced techniques to help patients recover functional abilities more effectively.
Dr. Dat has participated and presented at numerous professional conferences, for example presenting at the National Rehabilitation Conference in September 2019. His research projects such as “Evaluation of gait recovery in patients after thoracic spinal injury at Bach Mai Rehabilitation Center” and a case report on Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease are among his notable contributions. He is a member of the Vietnam Rehabilitation Association, the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM), and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). Dr. Dat received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Health for outstanding achievements in COVID-19 prevention and patient care. With dedication and solid expertise, he is highly regarded by both patients and colleagues for his professional care and supportive approach in rehabilitation medicine.
