Treatment of chickenpox or shingles: 800mg x 5 times/day x 5-7 days or 7-10 days (respectively).
Genital herpes:
Onset: 400mg x 3 times/day or 200mg x 5 times/day for 7-10 days. Relapse: 400mg x 3 times/day or 800mg x 2 times/day for 5 days.
