5. Dival drug interactions

The following drugs inhibit the renal excretion of calcium, including thiazide diuretics, clopamide, the antibiotics ciprofloxacin, chlorthalidone, and anticonvulsants. Divacal may reduce the absorption of iron salts, the Cyclin group and the Diphosphonate group. Glucocorticoids and Phenytoin may reduce the absorption of calcium from the gastrointestinal tract when used with Divacal. Diet with Phytate or Oxalate reduces the absorption of Calcium in Divacal, because it forms a complex that is difficult to absorb. When Dival is combined with digitalis, there is a risk of cardiac arrhythmias.

6. Side effects of the drug Dival


During use, Divacal may cause some side effects as follows:
When using Divacal, patients may experience some digestive dysfunction such as constipation, bloating, sadness. vomiting or vomiting. In some cases, calcium supplementation (with Divacal or other preparations) for a long time with high doses can change serum calcium and urinary calcium.
