Aphacool medicine contains the main ingredients:
Active ingredient Paracetamol with a content of 500mg; Loratadine with 5mg strength; Dextromethorphan,HBr with 7.5mg content; Other excipients in sufficient quantities. Therefore, the drug is used in the treatment of the following pathologies:
Treatment of signs and symptoms of colds and flu. Treatment of symptoms such as cough, fever, headache, muscle aches, joint pain, nasal congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes, sinusitis, seasonal runny nose, rash or allergic rhinitis. Aphacool is contraindicated in the following cases:
Do not use Aphacool for children under 6 years of age. People who are sensitive to the ingredients of the drug. Cough for people with asthma, respiratory failure, glaucoma, prostate enlargement, bladder neck blockage, severe cardiovascular disease, liver failure, kidney failure. People who are using drugs belonging to the MAO group.

The drug is used by direct oral route. Here is the reference dose of the drug:
For adults and children over 12 years old: use 1 tablet / time, 2 times / day. For children from 6 to 12 years old: use 1⁄2 tablets/time, 2 times/day. Dosage for people with liver failure and kidney failure: use 1 tablet / day or take every other day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Never take a second dose to make up for a dose you may have missed and simply continue with the next dose.
Cases of drug overdose may occur with the ingredients of Aphacool as follows:
Overdose of Paracetamol will appear methemoglobin - blood, causing cyanosis of the skin, mucous membranes and fingernails.... The recommended treatment is to use detoxification measures, taking Glutathione precursors as soon as possible. Loratadin overdose, symptoms may be somnolence, heart palpitations, headache... In this case, the treating doctor will prescribe symptomatic and supportive treatment. Overdose of Dextromethorphan, symptoms may appear such as nausea, drowsiness, blurred vision, nystagmus, urinary retention, numbness, hallucinations or ataxia, respiratory failure, convulsions... The treating doctor will prescribe supportive treatment, using Naloxone 2mg intravenously, repeated if necessary up to a total dose of 10mg.

Do not use Aphacool with MAOIs at the same time. Increased effect of CNS depressants when used concurrently with Aphacool. Coumarin and Indadion derivatives when used concurrently with Aphacool cause increased anticoagulant effect. Alcohol: increased risk of liver toxicity.

To use the drug safely, the patient should not be treated with Aphacool for more than 7 days. During drug treatment, do not use alcohol.
