Uses of Bivaltax

Bivaltax drug is a drug of the group of anti-allergic drugs and used in cases of hypersensitivity with the ingredient Loratadine 10 mg. Drugs manufactured by BV Pharma Joint Stock Company circulated in Vietnam and are registered with VDK-27674-17.

What does Bivaltax do? Loratadine is a long-acting tricyclic antihistamine with selective peripheral H1-receptor antagonism and no CNS depressant effects. Loratadine is also effective against histamine-related pruritus and urticaria. Loratadine, however, is not protective or clinically helpful in cases of severe histamine release such as anaphylaxis. Loratadine has no sedative effect, in contrast to the sedative side effects of first-generation antihistamines.
How Bivaltax works differently
Each type of pharmaceutical product is designed to treat a specific disease or condition. Therefore, only use Bivaltax to treat the conditions or conditions specified in the instructions for use. Although Bivaltax may have some other effects that are not listed on the approved label, you should only use this medicine to treat certain other conditions when directed by your doctor.

Usage:

Dosage:
Oral use:
Adults and children over 12 years old: 1 tablet/day. Children 6-12 years old: >= 30kg: 1 tablet x 1 time/day; < 30 kg: 1/2 tablet x 1 time/day. People with liver or kidney failure: 1/2 tablet/day or 1 tablet/time, every 2 days. Dosage of Bivaltax for Adults

Dosage of Bivaltax for children
Differences between children and adults such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, side effects... especially children are not allowed to be included in clinical trials ready before issuing a marketing authorization for a new drug. Therefore, using this drug for children should be very careful even with drugs that have not been warned.
Overdose, missed dose and treatment
Overdose:
In case of emergency or overdose with dangerous manifestations, call 911 Emergency Center or go to the nearest local Health Facility. Relatives need to provide the doctor with the prescription they are taking, the medicines they are taking, including prescription and non-prescription drugs.
Missed dose:
In case you miss a dose while taking the medicine, take it as soon as possible (usually it can be taken 1-2 hours before the time ordered by the doctor). However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the prescribed time. Be careful not to double the prescribed dose.

Contraindications
Subjects should not take Bivaltax Drugs Hypersensitivity to drug components. Children < 6 years old. Note
Liver failure. CKD. Should not be used during pregnancy & lactation.

The drug has been used in many breastfeeding women without any indications increased exposure to harmful effects on children. Controlled studies in lactating women have not demonstrated a low risk to the infant and the potential for harm to the nursing infant or the preparation has no oral bioavailability to the infant.

Side effects of Bivaltax drugs:
Fatigue, nausea, headache, rapid pulse, fainting, digestive disturbances and increased appetite.

When using two or more drugs at the same time, it is easy to have drug interactions leading to antagonism or synergism.
Drug interaction Bivaltax with other drugs
Cimetidine, erythromycin, ketoconazole, quinidine, fluconazole, fluoxetine increases the concentration of loratadine in the blood.
Bivaltax drug interactions with food and drinks
When using drugs with foods or alcohol, beer, tobacco... because those foods and drinks contain other active ingredients, they may antagonism or synergism with the drug.
