Mupirocin is a natural antibiotic extracted from Pseudomonas fluorescens. The antibacterial mechanism acts primarily by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis by reversibly binding to isoleucyl tRNA synthetase. At low concentrations, the drug is bacteriostatic, while at high concentrations, it is bactericidal. With excellent activity against staphylococcus and gram-positive streptococcus, it is mainly used for the treatment of primary and secondary skin disorders and wound healing. 2.1 Indications Skinrocin is used to treat skin infections caused by sensitive bacteria such as:
Impetigo. Folliculitis . Acne . 2.2 Dosage - How to use the drug Skinrocin Dosage:
Adults: apply 2-3 times a day, treat for 10 consecutive days.
How to use:
The first step to do before applying the medicine is to clean the area to be applied with clean water. Then dry and gently apply an appropriate amount of the drug to the skin to be treated.
After applying the medicine, the skin should be ventilated, not covered with bandages because this increases the permeability of the drug deep into the skin. Patients should only wear a bandage when prescribed by a doctor.
Forgetting to apply medicine and treatment:
If you forget to apply medicine many times, it may reduce the effectiveness of the drug and prolong the illness. Therefore, when you forget to apply the medicine, use it as soon as you remember.

Some unwanted effects may be encountered when applying Skinrocin on the skin such as:
There is a burning sensation at the application site and the surrounding skin. Itching, discomfort and dryness of the skin at the application site. Red spots appear. Rash, urticaria, angioedema.

There are no clinical reports on interactions between Skinrocin 5g topical with other drugs. You should also not use with or mix Skinrocin with other topical drugs, creams on the skin to be treated because it may cause adverse interactions.
According to an in vitro study on E.coli, chloramphenicol has an antagonistic interaction with mupirocin for bacterial RNA synthesis, but its clinical significance has yet to be determined.

Contraindications
Skinrocin is contraindicated for people who have a history of allergy to mupirocin and other ingredients in the drug.
Notes and cautions
A small amount of the drug's excipient polyethylene glycol can be absorbed through damaged skin and eliminated by the kidneys. Therefore, the drug should not be used when it is likely to absorb a large amount or in combination with products containing this excipient, especially in case of signs of renal failure. If after 5-7 days of treatment, the symptoms of the disease do not show any signs of improvement, stop taking the drug and conduct a re-evaluation. Avoid applying the drug to the eyes, nasal mucosa and intravenous catheter sites. If accidentally touched, wash several times with clean water and monitor the reaction. Use with caution in patients with pseudomembranous colitis. Recommendations for pregnant women and nursing mothers
Skinrocin is recommended to be used in pregnant women only when absolutely necessary because there are no adequate studies on this subject.
It is not known whether the drug is distributed into breast milk or not, so mothers need to temporarily stop breastfeeding while using Skinrocin 5g. If the mother has applied mupirocin to the breast area, it is necessary to clean it before breastfeeding.
Storage
Skinrocin medicine should be stored at room temperature, humidity below 75%, avoid leaving the product in humid places such as bathrooms, toilets.
After each use, close the lid tightly to prevent bacteria and fungi from entering.
