What is Cantomy granule?

Cantomy granule drug contains the main active ingredient is Cefdinir, which is a third generation Cephalosporin antibiotic, which inhibits mucopeptide synthesis in the bacterial cell wall. Bactericidal, depending on organism susceptibility, dose, and serum or tissue concentrations. The active ingredient Cefdinir has broad-spectrum activity against a wide range of infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Cantomy granule is used to treat mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria:
Community-acquired pneumonia, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, acute sinusitis, acute otitis media: Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae. Tonsillitis, pharyngitis caused by: Streptococcus pyogenes. Skin and skin structure infections caused by: Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus.

Take Cantomy granule by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose. Add cooled boiled water to the mark indicated on the solution bottle. In children, dosage is also based on weight, for best effect this antibiotic should be taken at spaced times. To help you remember, take this medicine at the same time each day. Continue using this medicine until the prescribed dose is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Throw away any liquid medicine that has not been used for more than 10 days.

Dosage depends on the infection status of each patient, can refer to the dose below:
Children aged 6 months - 12 years: dose 14mg/kg/day. Maximum dose 600mg/day. Acute bacterial otitis media, acute maxillary sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, skin and skin structure infections: Dosage: 7mg/kg x 2 times/day, for 5-10 days or 14mg/kg/time/ day in 10 days. When you miss a dose?

When you overdose?
