Vinmec Central Park participated with 8 vaccination teams and 1 emergency team. Fifty medical staff were on duty, administering vaccines to employees and workers at the Hi-Tech Park in Thu Duc City, Linh Trung Export Processing Zone, Binh Thanh District, District 6, and Tan Tao – Pouchen Industrial Park in Binh Tan District.
During Phase I, over 5 days (June 21–25, 2021), Vinmec administered nearly 10,000 vaccine doses at the Hi-Tech Park and Linh Trung Export Processing Zone.
In Phase II, starting from July 22, Vinmec expanded to 12 vaccination teams with more than 100 healthcare workers. At Vinmec Central Park Hospital and Vinmec Saigon Clinic, over 15,000 doses were provided between July 22 and the end of September 2021 for volunteers participating in pandemic control, Vingroup employees in Ho Chi Minh City, and residents with underlying health conditions.
Additionally, from July 23 to August 6, the hospital safely administered more than 17,000 doses to residents in Binh Thanh District, District 6, and Tan Tao Industrial Park. During this time, medical staff promptly managed over 40 cases of post-vaccination anaphylaxis (grade II), including 8 severe cases (grade III) throughout the campaign.
In total, over just 19 days, Vinmec Central Park successfully completed more than 42,000 COVID-19 vaccinations, making a significant contribution to Ho Chi Minh City’s pandemic response in late 2021. This milestone highlighted Vinmec’s commitment to disease prevention and vaccine coverage, standing alongside the nation during a challenging period.
