Da Nang City is putting its first field hospital into operation and continues to construct a second one. According to city guidelines, if the number of COVID-19 cases in Da Nang exceeds 150, the city will activate Level 4 epidemic response. At that point, along with several other hospitals in the city, Vinmec Da Nang will begin admitting and treating COVID-19 patients. Starting August 3, Vinmec Da Nang provided two personnel (a nurse and a biomedical engineer) to support the setup of Da Nang’s field hospital. Additionally, as requested by the Da Nang Department of Health, Vinmec Da Nang assisted the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in performing 600 tests on the Elisa machine for 600 samples from the Da Nang CDC.
