Insurance Payment Procedures at Vinmec

Cashless hospital billing procedures are only applicable to insurance companies that have signed a direct billing agreement with Vinmec.

STEP 1: CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER

Customers are advised to contact their insurance company in advance to inform them of their planned visit to Vinmec.

STEP 2: GUARANTEE LETTER SUBMISSION

The insurance company will issue a Guarantee of Payment (GOP) and send it directly to Vinmec or via a third-party administrator (TPA).

STEP 3: PRESENT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Upon arrival at Vinmec, please present:

- Passport

- Insurance card

STEP 4: DEPOSIT PAYMENT

Customers are required to make a deposit in accordance with Vinmec's regulations (*).

STEP 5: INSURANCE GUARANTEE CONFIRMATION

After the medical examination is completed and all required documents and test results are available, Vinmec will coordinate with the insurance company to confirm the coverage scope (**) Processing time: 15-45 minutes, depending on the insurance provider.

STEP 6: FINALIZATION & PAYMENT

Customers review and sign the claim form and settle any expenses not covered by insurance (if applicable) (***).

NOTES:

(*) The deposit amount is based on the estimated treatment cost as initially assessed by the attending doctor.

(**) Processing time depends on the insurance provider. If the customer chooses not to wait for the guarantee confirmation, they may submit the claim directly using the documents provided by the hospital. Any reimbursement (if approved) will be paid directly by the insurance company to the customer.

(3*) Upon receiving the final confirmation from the insurance company, the hospital will refund any remaining deposit after deducting expenses not covered by the insurance (if any).
