Master, Doctor of Specialist Level II Nguyen Ngoc Thang has many years of experience in gastrointestinal surgery and interventional endoscopy. Dr. Thang completed his residency in general surgery and pursued further training in Japan and Australia, including presenting on ERCP techniques at the National Surgery Conference in 2015. Over the course of his career, he has held various roles in hospitals across Vietnam and currently works in the Department of General Surgery at Vinmec Da Nang International Hospital.

Dr. Thang’s services include gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary surgery, advanced interventional endoscopy such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for biliary stone extraction, diagnosis and surgery for anorectal conditions (such as hemorrhoids, anal fistula, fissure, perianal abscess), hemorrhoidectomy, surgical resection of gastrointestinal tumors, hernia repair, and other general surgical procedures in the abdominal region. He has contributed to research and published articles on interventional endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgical techniques, particularly focused on clinical application of ERCP.
