PhD, MD Nguyen Thu Huong, former Head of the Breast Imaging Team, Department of Diagnostic Imaging at Bach Mai Hospital, is currently the Head of the Breast Unit at Vinmec Times City International Hospital and also serves as a professional advisor for the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network. The doctor has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of diagnostic imaging and breast intervention.
Dr. Huong received formal domestic training, graduating with an excellent degree from the Diagnostic Imaging residency program at Hanoi Medical University. Subsequently, she completed an intensive international fellowship program focusing on the breast at the Breast Center, Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea.
The doctor continued to pursue her doctoral research (PhD) in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine at Gunma University, Japan. Additionally, Dr. Huong has participated in numerous international training programs, workshops, and conferences in countries such as France, South Korea, Japan, and the United States. She is experienced in organizing and presenting at scientific workshops and community programs and is dedicated to continuously enhancing professional knowledge exchange and effective teamwork.
Currently, PhD, MD Nguyen Thu Huong holds the position of Head of the Breast Specialty at Vinmec Times City International Hospital.
