Dr. Phan Thanh Tung is a resident doctor with many years of experience in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Hanoi Medical University in 2019 and later obtained a Master’s degree in Surgery from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He has received comprehensive training in orthopedic trauma surgery, hip and knee replacement, and the surgical treatment of sports injuries.

Before joining Vinmec Times City International Hospital, Dr. Phan Thanh Tung worked at Saint Paul General Hospital in the Department of Orthopedic Trauma and Sports Medicine, where he participated directly in numerous complex surgical cases. This experience provided him with extensive practical knowledge in managing fractures, soft tissue injuries, and postoperative rehabilitation.

Currently working at the Center for Orthopedic Trauma and Sports Medicine – Vinmec Times City International Hospital, Dr. Phan Thanh Tung is responsible for the examination, diagnosis, and surgical treatment of patients with orthopedic and sports-related conditions, including hip and knee replacement, ligament reconstruction, and trauma surgery. With a careful and dedicated approach, he continuously seeks to apply modern surgical techniques to enhance treatment outcomes and improve patients’ functional recovery.
