Meritorious Physician. PhD. MD. Quach Huu Trung was formally trained at the Vietnam Military Medical University, graduating as a General Practitioner in 1989, earning his Specialist Level I degree in Internal Medicine in 1998, a Master’s in Internal Medicine in 2005, and successfully defending his PhD thesis in Cardiovascular Internal Medicine at the 108 Institute of Clinical Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2014.

With over 30 years of experience, he has held numerous key leadership positions, including Deputy Head of the Cardiology Department and Head of the Endocrinology–Diabetes Department at 19-8 Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security; Deputy Director of the Traditional Medicine Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security; and Director as well as Senior Advisor at 199 Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security.

Dr. Quach Huu Trung is a pioneer in hospital and clinic restructuring, leading healthcare M&A projects, optimizing operations, redesigning workflows, and implementing digital transformation and innovation initiatives. He has extensive expertise in healthcare information systems, clinical governance, hospital quality improvement, and coordinating multidisciplinary improvement teams in collaboration with CHIR, ZTA, and the Innovation Incubator at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
