2. How dangerous is the white fungus?

The white cone mushroom has a toxin called amanitin (amatoxin), which is classified as a strong toxicity, potentially causing death. Even when boiled or dried, the toxicity of mushrooms does not disappear.
When entering the body, toxins can damage liver cells and lead to liver necrosis. Amanitin toxin from the fungus is excreted in the urine. If a nursing mother eats poisonous mushrooms, the poison can be excreted in her milk and cause poisoning for the baby.
Symptoms of white canopy mushroom poisoning are as follows:
6 - 12 hours: Abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea many times causing dehydration. Next 12-24 hours: Urinating more or less, kidney failure, liver failure, coma and death.

3. What to do when poisoning white cone?

When you see a person showing signs of mushroom poisoning, especially white canopy, immediately use mechanical measures to induce vomiting, do it as soon as possible, when the person is still awake and has not vomited. a lot of.
After that, give activated charcoal with a dose of 1g/kg of body weight and drink oresol to rehydrate and then quickly bring the poisoned person to the nearest and fastest medical facility.
In case of late detection, when the patient has a convulsion or falls into a coma, it is necessary to put the poisoned person lying on his side. If breathing is weak or there are signs of apnea, give artificial respiration or rescue breaths and use local first aid facilities.
During medical treatment, patients with white cone mushroom poisoning are not allowed to leave the treatment place to go home because the symptoms of poisoning may not be over yet.
