ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION COURSE
“CARE FOR PEDIATRIC PATIENTS WITH ACUTE RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS” – Course 1
Acute respiratory infections (ARI) are the most common illnesses in children, especially those under 5 years old. ARI includes conditions such as nasopharyngitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia, with pneumonia being the leading cause of death in children. According to statistics from the World Health Organization (WHO), ARI accounts for nearly 20% of all deaths in children under 5 years old.
To enhance the capacity for pediatric care and monitoring for nurses working in clinical departments within the Vinmec Health System, as well as for external nurses seeking to update their knowledge, we are opening the continuing education course (CNE) “Care for Pediatric Patients with Acute Respiratory Infections.” This CNE program has been approved by the Deputy General Director of Clinical Affairs of the Vinmec Health System and is included in the CME training plan for 2025. This is an important topic suitable for all healthcare staff seeking initial or refresher training across the system.
1. Learning Objectives:
After completing this program, participants will be able to:
Develop and implement safe and effective care plans for pediatric patients with acute respiratory infections following standard care procedures, thereby contributing to improved care quality and patient safety.
