The majority of cases involving the use of Tyrosur do not result in significant dermatological reactions. However, if the clinical symptoms do not improve after 7 days of treatment, the patient should proactively discontinue the medication and notify the treating physician.
1. Indications of Tyrosur
Tyrosur is a topical antiseptic medication. The primary function of Tyrosur is to treat and prevent infections in cutaneous wounds.
The medication is indicated in the following circumstances:
- Burns, infected wounds
- Lacerations, abrasions of the skin
- Dermatitis, folliculitis

- Surgical wound management
Tyrosur is contraindicated in the following conditions:
- Hypersensitivity and allergy to any components of the medication
- Concurrent treatment with Nitrite
- Neonates

2. Administration and Dosage of Tyrosur
Use Tyrosur externally only; it is contraindicated for oral administration or improper use. Prior to application, ensure that the hands and the affected area of skin are thoroughly cleaned.
Apply an adequate amount of the medication to the targeted area, gently massaging until the drug is completely absorbed.
In instances of small wounds that are not exuding fluid, patients do not require occlusive dressing. However, occlusive dressing is advised in cases where the treatment area is extensive or if there is drainage, to minimize the risk of infection.
Dosage:
- Administer the medication 2 to 3 times per week (morning and evening or morning, noon, and evening) for adults.
- Dosage and duration should be adjusted according to the patient's response to the treatment.
- For pediatric patients under 6 years of age, consult a physician prior to use.
If there is no observable improvement after one week of therapy, it is recommended to discontinue the medication and consult a physician.

3. Precautions and Side Effects of Tyrosur Use
Precautions:
- Tyrosur should not be used by pregnant or lactating women without the consent of a physician. Self-administration of this medication in these populations is contraindicated, as it may penetrate breast milk or exert adverse effects on the fetus.
- If you intend to use it in children under 6 years of age, please consult directly with a physician to mitigate potential adverse situations.
Side Effects of the Medication:
- Tyrosur typically does not cause side effects at standard dosages. However, individuals with hypersensitivity may wish to discuss this concern with their physician prior to use.
- Adverse reactions are exceedingly rare, occurring in less than 0.01% of cases, and may include dermal and subdermal tissue disorders. Patients may experience hypersensitivity reactions, such as a burning sensation on the skin.
In the event of interactions, the physician may recommend:
- Discontinuation of one of the medications
- Adjustment of dosage and frequency of administration
- Prescription of an alternative medication
Patients should not independently adjust the dosage or duration of treatment. If there are any questions during the course of treatment, you should discuss them directly with your physician to obtain accurate information.
