Eucalyptin is formulated in the form of soft capsules, packaged as: 1 box containing 10 blisters of 10 capsules each or one box containing 1 bottle, with each bottle containing 40 soft capsules.

2. Indications and Contraindications for Eucalyptin

2.1. Indications

Eucalyptin is indicated in the following cases:

  • Disinfection of the teeth, mouth, and respiratory tract.

2.2. Contraindications

Eucalyptin is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Do not use Eucalyptin for individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to Eucalyptol or any component of the medication.
  • Contraindicated in patients with cough due to bronchial asthma.
  • Not to be used in patients with kidney stones;
  • Not to be used in patients with respiratory failure.
  • Not to be used for children under 3 years of age.

3. How to use and dosage of Eucalyptin

3.1. How to Use Eucalyptin

Eucalyptin is formulated in the form of soft capsules and is taken orally. Patients must swallow the entire capsule with cooled boiled water and should not chew the capsule. Patients can take Eucalyptin before, during, or after meals.

3.2. Dosage of Eucalyptin

  • The dosage for adults and children over 12 years old: take 4-6 capsules daily, 1-2 capsules at a time, or as directed by a doctor/pharmacist.

Note: There is no indication for the use of Eucalyptin in children under 12 years of age.

4. Precautions when using Eucalyptin

Caution should be exercised when using Eucalyptin in the following cases:

  • Care should be taken when using this medication to treat pregnant and breastfeeding women.
  • Caution is advised when administering the medication to patients with bronchial asthma and respiratory failure.

Note:

  • Eucalyptin should be stored in a dry place with moderate humidity, cool, and away from direct light.
  • Keep Eucalyptin out of reach of children.

5. Side effects of Eucalyptin

Patients may experience conditions such as allergies, rashes, itching, or signs of respiratory failure. If any unusual symptoms occur during the use of Eucalyptin, patients should immediately inform their physician for timely management.
