BUILDING A QUALITY CULTURE AT VINMEC

The Vietnam Quality Criteria (commonly known as the 83 Quality Criteria), issued by the Ministry of Health in 2016, serve as a vital tool for healthcare facilities nationwide to assess, improve, and continuously enhance service quality. At Vinmec Healthcare System, we highly value these criteria as a fundamental framework for ongoing development, aiming toward a safe and efficient hospital model. From our very first evaluations, the valuable feedback from inspection teams—including representatives from the Department of Health and local hospitals—has been a key driving force in strengthening our quality management system. This ensures compliance and the effective application of the Ministry of Health’s guidelines in daily practice.

Since 2018, customer experience surveys have been a top priority at Vinmec, serving as a routine practice to assess healthcare service quality and patient satisfaction.

In addition to using the Ministry of Health’s standardized survey, Vinmec offers flexible and convenient ways for patients and their families to quickly share their experiences (e.g., through tablet kiosks at hospitals, the MyVinmec mobile app, or direct feedback when contacted by our patient experience surveyors). Every piece of feedback is carefully recorded, analyzed, and reviewed to drive continuous improvement, ensuring exceptional treatment quality and outstanding patient care.

More than 40,000 reviews covering over 400 doctors have been processed, standardized, and proactively published on the hospital’s website. This transparency not only motivates Vinmec’s medical staff to strive for excellence but also reinforces our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and treatment.
